The HR Expertise Career is a specialist or competent expert who stays abreast of developments in HR field of expertise, both inside and outside of the organisation.

Translates developments into effective and useful HR policy and tools, seeking further development across the whole field of HR, possibly on corporate level.

Your profile

  • You have to be registered as a student at the University
  • You are studying Human Resource Management or D&I
  • You have an active interest and experience in D&I matters
  • Fluent in English
  • You are able to work on long-term goals and you are organized
  • You have a drive to work in an international environment
  • You are pro-active, enthusiastic, hard-working and have a hands-on approach
  • You adhere to the ING values and it is evident that your behaviour fully aligns with these values : and Code of conduct

  • Documents

    Two documents are required for your application to be complete :

    The Motivation Letter (max. one A4 page in English) : a list of reasons as to why you fit the job description, why we should hire you, and why you are motivated to be the new intern.

    The Curriculum Vitae (CV) : Your CV (max. two A4 pages- in English) should include relevant education, work experience, skills, and / or extracurricular activities that will support your Motivation Letter and overall application.

    Selection Process

    After expressing interest, an email will be sent to you for further correspondence about any questions you might have.

    Once we have received your documents, we will start the first round of selection.

    First round of selection : CV screening

    During the first round of selection, the team will select applicants based on their curriculum vitae and letter of motivation.

    If you have been selected for the interview, you will receive an invitation for an interview.

    Second round of selection : Interview

    During the interview you will be asked questions based on your CV and Letter of Motivation. Further questions may be asked based on your answer to the questions regarding these documents.

    In addition, some general interview questions may be asked.

    Feedback and outcome

    After your interview has been concluded, you will receive feedback from the team including the outcome of the selection process.
