Primary Function of Position :
This senior level position is responsible for all phases of receipt, movement, storage, tracking, and shipment of finished goods required for order fulfillment.
Job duties include : inbound shipment tracking and follow up. Work with 3PL on priorities and special customer deliveries.
Support the 3PL on SAP queries. Manages interfaces with delivery carriers on shipment issues, and facilitates support of daily finished goods operations for EMEIA.
Provides guidance and trains peer members of logistics team and able to independently audit processes and procedures for compliance.
Roles and Responsibilities :
Maintain tactical interfaces with shipping carriers FedEx, UPS, Expeditors.
Communicate with customer service on delivery issues and delays
Manage the reverse logistics process and provide logistics support for all EMEIA I&A RMAs
Process I&A returns from Amsterdam to Sunnyvale.
Ensure timely shipment of all outbound I&A shipments to meet contractual obligations and customer requirements
Work with customs brokers and freight forwarders to resolve import / export operational issues
Able to provide backup to manager(s) during their absence
Able to resolve receiving and shipping issues work with customer service on address issues etc.
Review inventory shortages for root cause, corrective action, and preventative measures
Manage international shipping documentation requirements
Support international trade compliance requirements
Able to train in use of business operations software and able trouble-shoot data transactions
Contributing member of cross-functional teams that target continuous improvements for operational excellence and continuous improvements.
Fulfill employee training record requirements / updates per manager’s direction
Maintain an excellent attendance record
Follow all corporate, regulatory, safety policies, and procedures
Perform other projects or duties as assigned.
Provides guidance and training to more junior staff (if any) in methods and requirements for 3
Party put-away, warehouse replenishments, and shipments worldwide

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience :

In order to adequately perform the responsibilities of this position the individual must :
Possess HBO level degree
Possess prior warehouse (5 years) or experience in all aspects of receiving, shipping, and logistics operations support
Prior ability to audit process issues and lead project teams
Prior medical industry experience
Able to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in completing work assignments while complying with verbal and written instructions
Able to work at the lead level of expertise
Prior computer experience (including MS Office products and ERP systems) preferably SAP and Agile.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Highly customer and service focused
