POSITION SUMMARY

We are currently looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our Customer Service Team in Lelystad. Customer Service Representative provides service to the clients of our Automotive Finishes Coatings Division giving routine support, service, and account management.

Responsibilities include entering data, clarifying customer orders, and responding to standard questions and problems. Our customers are based in the EMEAI region, therefore, the ability to speak any other language apart from English (especially Dutch, Spanish, French, Italian or German) will be a big asset.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receives incoming mail, telephone and electronic contact regarding the organization’s products and services, enters orders, and forwards calls to other personnel when appropriate.
  • Responds to basic or standard inquiries or complaints regarding the organization’s products and services, pricing, delivery dates, adjustments to bills / orders.
  • Develops correspondence and documentation as appropriate regarding interaction with customers and responding to questions and concerns.
  • Informs customers of current or new product lines that may satisfy customer needs and recommends additional products.
  • Performs basic office duties, such as copying, filing, faxing, typing standard documents, preparing, sorting, and distributing mail, entering data, and running basic or standard reports.
  • Assists with serving as a liaison between customers and sales personnel to ensure customer satisfaction by coordinating communications, following-
  • up with problems, and serving as a contact point for customers.

  • Assists with reviewing and coordinating standard customer service activities related to shipping, plant schedules, and sales activities by reviewing reports, orders, shipments, and other information as required or directed by management.
  • Assists with building customer relationships by understanding needs, providing valid information or advice when required, and informing sales personnel of opportunities.
  • BASIC QUALIFICATION

    REQUIREMENTS

  • Fluent English and another European language (esp. Dutch, Spanish, French, Italian, German)
  • Previous relevant experience in Customer Service
  • Previous experience in handling export documents would be an asset
  • Applying basic office principles;
  • Providing basic customer service;
  • Ability to learn company specific policies and procedures;
  • Ability to understand a wide product base and operations;
  • PC skills; Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); and other applications as required;
  • Communicating with co-workers to provide and receive direction.
