Our mission is to become the first choice for business finance in the Netherlands. The Partnerships Channel is responsible for establishing a network of finance professionals who recommend Funding Circle to their own clients.
The channel recently received huge investment and focus as it is core to our growth strategy here in the Netherlands.
You will be responsible for further building Funding Circle’s presence in the Netherlands by establishing your own network of partners.
Potential partnerships range from business consultancies, accountancies, other Fintech startups, brokerages and more. You will source, onboard and coach your partners to ensure our product is best represented within the SME space.
As a Partnerships Manager, you will :
Be responsible for sourcing, onboarding and establishing long-term partnerships with financial organisations and professionals
Establish and maintain strong relationships with a variety of partners through your existing network, face to face contact, telephone, LinkedIn and email
Provide best-in-class partner management to support growth of existing partnerships
Use your ambition, drive and excellent communication skills to close loan agreements, achieve targets and directly contribute to the success of the company
Work collaboratively with our local and international teams to achieve the best results for yourself, the local teams and the company globally
What you’ll bring to the role :
Passion and perseverance - we are looking for future teammates who are driven and motivated to succeed
Proven track record of business development / sales experience with financial services
Excellent relationship building and written and oral communication ability (ability to lead and control a phone discussion / negotiation / closing to ensure efficiency)
Both a hunter and farmer, with an appetite to build something long-lasting from the start
Strong presentation and organisational skills with a flexible attitude towards working hours and travel within the Netherlands
A team player attitude - this will be essential for you to excel in our fast-paced environment
