What are you going to do?

To give you an idea of how you can contribute considerably to the success of our organization : You will provide marketing and sales support to the European commercial team in the Sensing Solutions Business Unit.

Together with our strong team of Customer Service, Quality, Engineering, Marketing and Sales you will be responsible for successfully handling all commercial activities, from acquiring leads to final order placement and after sales follow up.

You will be challenged to provide the highest level of service for ongoing business and bringing new business through and manage and coordinate internal processes related to the commercial team, new product development programs, quality, delivery procedures, NBO management.

This role can be divided in three pillars of responsibility, marketing support, lead generation and sales management. You will report into and are part of the commercial team.

Marketing support : together with the marketing segment manager create opportunities in the market, monitor trends and act on them, analyze details and report the business opportunities and sales figures into the commercial team.

Lead generation : identify opportunities in the market with both new and existing clients. Proactively contact prospects and acquire new clients.

Build and expand relationships with potential customers and seek to "design in" the company’s current and future technology to customers’ products.

Sales management : manage day to day sales activities with clients allocated to you. Trouble shooting where necessary, prepare quotations, order management and after sales.

Background :

  • A Bachelors or Master’s degree level in Business or Engineering (ideally mechanical / electrical or electronically)
  • 3-5) years of relevant experience, preferable in an industrial / technical environment

  • Excellent communication skills, plus a high degree of self-motivation and determination.
  • A natural commercial attiitude (ability to close a deal), a focus on contributing to the customer requirements and a drive to solve problems rather than report them.
  • Self-managing professional with the ability to use own initiative and flexibility as well as work within a team.
  • Good presentation skills, understanding for future business potential.
  • Analytical skills include the ability to collect and analyze information, problem solve, and make decisions.
  • Good command of the English language is essential, other languages like German, Italian or French would be advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel 20%
