Quality Manager EMEA
For one of our customer operations we are looking for a Quality Manager. Our customer is a Top 50 Fortune 500 company in the High Tech Industry that specializes in internet-related services and products, which include cloud computing, software, and hardware.

What are we looking for?
As the Quality Manager, you will establish, implement and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) processes for our EMEA operations in 5 countries with 11 sites.
You’ll promote awareness of customer requirements and have the organizational freedom to resolve matters pertaining to quality, helping to maintain XPO’s superior levels of product / service conformity.

You will report to the Program Manager EMEA.
What you’ll do on a typical day :
Serve as the facility’s quality system subject matter expert; lead, develop, implement and maintain site quality management system and programs.
Lead the development of quality systems and control / assurance strategies. Implement processes, guidelines and control plans which assure quality and reliability of products and ensure conformance to established standards.
Drive Continuous improvement in key areas of the quality program by utilizing pertinent quality improvement tools including but not limited to Lean Six Sigma, 5S and Value Stream Mapping.
Lead improvement projects (Kaizens) focused on addressing and resolving quality issues that impact operations, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Investigate and address trends with internal and external non-conformances; report findings and recommendations for improvement to management and customer.
Provide ongoing leadership of direct reports, quality schedules, metrics and organization goals and objectives.
Ensure that facility / department training status and setup is reviewed at the required frequency and that training requirements are met in a timely manner
Ensures compliance with all appropriate laws and regulations. Supports the implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with XPO and customer policies
Acts as point of contact for XPO stakeholders, Customer, and external stakeholders such as government and auditors. May participate in design control, risk analysis and audit meetings for the aforementioned groups.
What you need to succeed at XPO :
Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role with 3 years in distribution or logistics
Demonstrated Lean Enterprise / Process Improvement skills
Strong presentation skills
Ability to travel up to 35%
Experience with working in a high-volume distribution center environment;
Six sigma or Lean Enterprise experience / certification.
Experience with warehouse management and inventory management software
Demonstrated commitment to process excellence by ensuring proper, efficient and accurate use of defined processes and procedures
Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to communicate with all levels of the organization as well as with the client
