Ground network operations agents support the execution of the Ground network services by managing daily truck operations and managing the Ground network services shipments through the network.Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational system.To make sure that we meet our internal and external compliance regulations/standards at all times and that this is according to our government regulations.Fully understand the Ground Network Service process flow and be proactive involved in looking for best practices to improve the operational process to be more effective, efficient and productive.Create operating records for scheduled and ad hoc truck routes in Expeditors' systems.Coordinate the recovery of cargo from CFS facilities or 3rd party locations for induction into the Ground Network.Prepare paperwork for the transfer of freight within the network including load manifests and bills of lading.Simulate most effective load consolidations and issue loading plans to the warehouse.Receive and inspect network inbound and transfer freight as needed.Identify potential operational delays and capacity constraints in the ground network.Assist in enacting contingencies to expand ad hoc capacity as needed, and arranging reroutes and additional trucks as necessary.Support documentation as needed, including processing consolidations in and monitoring work flows.Perform service provider reviews.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Qualifications6 months to 1 year related logistic experience.Open to work during the nightshift, weekend shift and on National Holidays.Be a team player and have the ability to listen, comprehend and effectively communicate to obtain positive results.Pro-active and strong organizational skills.Good computer skills (Excel, Word, PPP and Outlook).Fluent in English and Dutch (verbally and reading/writing).
