Leads IT aspects of the most complex divisional / global projects to define and develop business capabilities and services through the provision of robust IT solutions that typically require significant innovation.

Key Accountabilities :
Develops / maintains understanding of the general concepts relating to current and emerging IT methodologies, technologies and standards.
Develops / maintains an in depth understanding of the requirements and inter-dependencies of the key processes within the FedEx business, and their relevance to the delivery of the business goals.
Uses structured processes to capture and share knowledge with relevant areas. Includes guiding and coaching less experienced peers.
Supports the strategic IT goal of consistently applying global processes (which include complex regulatory requirements), to projects and processes.
Includes acting as the Core IT Lead’ for assigned projects with responsibility to advise and support project team members regarding complex and diverse requirements, standards etc.
Provides the manager with timely summaries of process requirements for each step.
Participates in the process to evaluate and define the most complex business / IT concepts.
Facilitates the critical and detailed process to develop accurate and realistic business requirements for the most complex situations.
Leads the process to translate the business requirements into an effective IT solution (software specifications, architecture, interfaces etc).
Includes conducting ongoing reviews of progress, and facilitating the resolution of questions and / or issues. Interfaces with the business and IT to provide / review status updates and obtain clarification as needed.
Leads the process to develop an IT plan which accurately captures required elements.
Ensures effective testing of solutions. Defines the testing phase of the project, which involves aligning with other IT groups to determine effective test plans / testing environment.
Aligns with business users to determine which elements of the business process need to be validated.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Strong experience in Business Analysis including gathering and writing requirements for the development teams.
Demonstrated ability to work successfully on large projects.
Proficiency in the use of business analysis techniques and tools.
Experience of business analysis in an IT environment.
Excellent presentation skills.
Good judgment & reasoning skills with experience of developing business focused solutions to complex issues.
Teamwork-focused / collaborative work style.
Self-starter who is willing to work with colleagues in a distributed environment to get the task done.
