What you'll be doing
Understand the responsible account inside out globally
Articulate the global account strategy and plan to achieve the business objectives and drive strong execution of the account plan
Build excellent relationships with key people within the account (strategic & tactical), understanding customer business strategy and drivers, identify and create up and cross selling business opportunities and develop business-value proposition and win profitable business in line with BT’s strategy.
Create a sales funnel, using Siebel, which will result in both short- and longer-term up and cross selling business wins.
Be able to take ownership of the entire (pre-) sales process, supported by the BT pre-sales community.
Be responsible for the end-to-end account management
The candidate is able to build and maintain a senior level relationship both with the customer and internally, like product lines, bid management, Service Delivery etc.
following the customer contact strategy.
The candidate is able to pro-actively identify, create & build strategic ICT solutions, based on BT’s portfolio that fit customer’s ICT strategy needs.
The candidate is able to drive a virtual team in order to keep customer satisfaction at high levels and to bring in innovation in order to protect and grow existing business

University or Bachelor’s degree in IT or Business Administration
Minimum of 10 years of relevant sales experience, in particular managing major accounts on a global basis and solutions based sales.
Strong global account management experience
Strong account team leadership
Ability to drive, negotiate and close complex sales opportunities and contracts
Proven track record in up and cross selling large international Networking / ICT projects with medium and / or large enterprise accounts with 10M+ deal size.
Proven & personal network within corporate (Benelux) industry is a plus
Good understanding of current ICT market demands / trends and proven knowledge of software based solutions.
Preferably a good understanding of BT’s products and services.
A proven track record of achieving sales targets with a good background in commercial awareness.
Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills and a natural relationship builder and networker.
Good Dutch and English language skills are a must.
Focused on agreed priorities, effective working attitude, result driven, thinking win-win.
Able to work independent and committed to do whatever it takes’ to become successful
Experience in the logistics accounts is a plus
