The QC Officer will perform a wide variety of assays and / or tests required for Quality Control and Stability.
The QC Officer will follow established procedures, maintain detailed documentation and ensure all documentation is compliant with defined quality standards.
General laboratory responsibilities
Perform QC tasks as assigned
Perform incoming inspection, product release and non-conforming product handling.
Obtain and maintain a thorough working knowledge of all relevant technologies, including FISH
Review documents related to quality specifications, test methods, work processes and written instructions as required.
Maintain Quality System documentation process including procedures, work instructions, and records
Maintain familiarity with all relevant quality standards
Ensure compliance with the company and corporate Quality Management Systems
Required Skills / Experience
Working experience in the Quality Control or analytic laboratory environment or similar
Proficient in performing all routine and relevant QC laboratory techniques using lab equipment, such as pH meters, balances, micropipettes
Experience with standard analytical techniques
Fluent in English
practical experience supported with good knowledge of ISH / FISH method
understanding of human cytogenetics, histological / immunohistochemical and molecular biology techniques; general histology or immunohistochemistry experience including section cutting and slide screening
experience of working to a recognised Quality Management System (e.g. ISO9001 / ISO 13485) and following quality procedures and Good Document Practises
experience in calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment
Good level of understanding / knowledge in the main QA processes non-conformance, inspection, change control, CAPA, etc.
Good level of Dutch
