The Benelux Marketing team is seeking a talented, self-directed field marketer to lead our marketing strategy for Benelux working closely together in the Emea Startup Marketing team.
Working backwards from the customer, you will partner with team members and stakeholders to develop and build scaled marketing programs to accelerate AWS adoption within the segment.
As part of this role, you will gather market and customer insights and use these insights to develop and execute a marketing strategy for the startup segment.
You will prioritize areas of focus and resources to achieve maximum impact, build multi-channel marketing plans, and use a data driven approach to decision making.
You will partner with sales teams and work closely with AWS cloud experts, partners, customers, field marketing, PR, business development & customer engagement teams.
The ideal candidate will have a results-driven approach to marketing and a scrappy, entrepreneurial spirit to thrive in our fast-paced environment.
Position may be located in Amsterdam.
Key job responsibilities
7+ years of experience in a high-tech B2B sales-facing marketing role
3+ years experience in a marketing leadership role, including managing and driving stakeholder alignment
6+ years of relevant work experience, specifically with end-to-end, scaleable, and metrics-driven marketing programs, which includes email marketing, lead management, execution of marketing events, workshops, and other marketing-based skills.
Experience in the project management and onboarding of online platforms, learning management systems, web sites, or similar online systems / platforms.
Hands-on experience developing and implementing integrated marketing campaigns
Proven experience finding creative ways to do more with less, and a track record of delivering marketing programs at scale
Superior oral and written communication skills with an innate attention to detail
3+ years of experience working in or out of co-working spaces - understanding the flow of startups in these spaces, what works, what doesn’t, and gaps for improvement.
5+ years of experience working in the startup segment and / or a former startup founder.
6+ years of experience using Microsoft Excel, Salesforce, Marketo, Tableau, and / or similar systems, to create campaigns and manipulate and analyze data and for measuring impact and optimizing based on results.
Proven track record of insisting on the highest standards and ability to deliver strong results on program objectives.
Motivated self-manager who thrives on figuring out what to do and making it happen, sometimes in complex and ambiguous environments.
Deep understanding of and experience managing marketing and sales funnels, from lead to revenue
Experience in managing budgets, opening POs, forecasting, and reconciliation.
