Being part of Ant Group, WorldFirst is shaking up the financial services industry. Our mission as a FinTech is to create the world’s best platform for international trade, payments and foreign exchange.

The Amsterdam office is responsible for growing our business in the Netherlands and mainland Europe. You will be joining a high performing team, targeting on-line merchants and building partnerships in the e-commerce ecosystem.

You will promote the benefits of WorldFirst’s services to decision makers at prospective clients and partners, making a substantial contribution to the company’s growth targets in terms of new clients and turnover.

What you’ll do

  • You will be responsible for achieving monthly and annual sales targets (new clients, new business), achieved through lead sourcing, outbound calling and generating leads through partnerships
  • You will seek and develop long-term business partnerships within the e-commerce eco system (included but not limited to platforms, training agencies, fulfillment etc) for the purpose of offering WorldFirst capabilities to mutual customers and stakeholders
  • You will work with cross-functional teams to support and prioritize new product and channel launches including API connectivity
  • You will engage in marketing operations and events, building a CRM pipeline, preparing pitches and having both telephone, zoom and face to face meetings
  • You'll need to be up-to-date with products and services of WorldFirst and the Ant Group companies to proficiently promote these to potential clients and partners in the Netherlands and Europe
  • Ensuring you are aware of necessary compliance regulations, representing WorldFirst with the utmost integrity
  • Who you are

  • Proven experience in sales, acquisition and business development
  • Background with particular focus on e-commerce will be essential
  • Knowledge and interest in global banking, FX and operational details of international on-line business will be advantage.
  • Evidence of achieving revenue targets and contributing significantly to business growth
  • Network builder with clear understanding of stakeholder interests
  • The ambition to take a leading role in our sales team and achieve personal growth
