About IMCD Food & NutritionIMCD’s Food & Nutrition business has seen rapid development in recent years through acquisitions, supplier development and sales growth.

The business has a strong presence globally with revenues approximating €500MM. Food & Nutrition markets are undergoing a significant transition as consumer tastes are changing, and this requires IMCD’s business to focus on the right market segments, geographies, principals and customers, which requires data driven decision making, and a deep understanding of market trends. Core of the role :

Expected Qualification / Education : Degree in Marketing / Business, potentially with a Food Science degree.

Expected Qualification / Education :

Work Experience : 5-10 years of work experience in international marketing / marketing communications in a world class organization, in food ingredients or a similar B2B environment, with a strong track record of marketing plan development, branding, communication planning, digital tools, and customer growth planning .

Potential Job Location : The Position is responsible for : Marketing communications

  • Define the branding of the business within the overall guidelines of IMCD, act as brand ambassador
  • Define marketing communications plans by region including budgets
  • Provide business group presentation content & ensure ongoing consistency and alignment with strategy
  • Project leader for IMCD participation in key trade show events
  • Produce relevant marketing collateral
  • Provide relevant content for internal as well as external communication incl to the trade press
  • Measure the effectiveness of communications tools including trade show
  • Key principal interactions : provide support on market trends
  • Internal communications

  • Develop and implement an internal communication plan
  • Manage collaboration tools structure including defining the IT strategy using SF and Microsoft tools
  • Digital marketing

  • Support the production of digital marketing campaigns drive sales growth
  • Contact database management system
  • Define digital marketing campaign handbook & guidelines to the country organizations
  • Marketing systems / marketing data

  • Select and manage data providers for marketing information
  • Ensure appropriate training and roll out of marketing data tools
  • Ensure that market segmentation is accurately reflected in company systems
  • Position : key relationshipsThis position reports into the Business Group Director Food & Nutrition.Strong connection with the Regional Business Directors, the IMCD Marketing Communications Director, Marketing Automation Director, Global Technical Director, Marketing Automation Managers.

    Strong working relationship with International Product Managers, Marketing Managers, BU Managers, Regional Sales Managers

  • Proven track record in B2B marketing communications and branding
  • Strong track record in using and developing digital marketing tools
  • High energy, resilient and future leadership potential
  • Good understanding of B2B marketing and segmentation
  • Strong collaboration & influencing skills, with excellent business acumen
  • Must have strong inter-personal skills with the ability to develop strong relationships
  • Excellent command of English must be fluent in writing as well as spoken
  • Travel : in the 10-20% range.
