Within Cheese & Powder Systems we are looking for a

Sales Manager

to join our team in Heerenveen, The Netherlands.

Responsibilities :

  • B uilding Customer Relations Management and Sales Support for Dairy Markets (Semi Hard Cheese) in selling Cheese Production line solutions.
  • Drive operational sales plans within the Cheese Category.
  • Present Cheese portfolio to customers and show features and benefits.
  • Coordinate / make offers for Cheese Production line solutions.
  • Support sustainable and profitable growth in the Cheese Food Category driving world-class Customer Management.
  • Support the implementation of portfolio development plans.
  • Understand the specific market, create and execute action plan together with the Internal teams in accordance with the overall Cheese Food Category and strategy.
  • Be the dedicated point of contact for Markets in the Company in relation to Semi Hard cheese production and sales activities.

  • Drive Customer Management support and develop long term relations to customers and Markets within the category. Agree portfolio and solutions deployment, positioning and pricing strategy.
  • Give input for improvements in production concepts and solutions and to the portfolio development process.

  • Understand market specific requirements and support with application and business expertise in creating line solutions according to customer needs and sales strategy Participate in positioning and pricing of customer quotations.
  • Drive Opportunity Management and Sales, including responsibility for sales budget and margins.
  • Monthly reporting of market situation : won and lost orders, forecast, ongoing and planned activities.
  • Key Outputs and Measurements :

  • Order intake, Margins Customer share, Customer Satisfaction, Product deployment
  • Key Relationships :

  • Customers, Market Company Sales, Product Manager, Project Management, internal Team
  • Requirements :

  • 3+ years’ experience in a leadership role
  • 4+ years’ experience in :
  • Food Processing Business (preferably Cheese)
  • Processing Equipment Engineering
  • Sales Management
  • People Management
  • Excellent presentation communication skills in English (German would be an advantage)
