For this role we are only recruiting inside the EU, with a preference for applicants already living in the Netherlands for at least 3-5 years, and being able to speak Dutch besides fluent English.

For our Digital Orchestration team, in the center of our Network Design department, the beating heart of our 4G & 5G network and our T-Mobile at home optimization and expansion, we are looking for an enthusiastic Product Owner!

This role will play a key part in our expansion drive within the Netherlands, on the roll out and growth of our Fiber network and customer experience.

About the environment :

All the T-Mobile OSS are developed by self-organized Scrum / DevOps teams, both internally with own staff and externally by suppliers / partners.

These are responsible for the analysis, the functional design and the realization of software solutions (applications / systems) that support the customer processes and the activation of the services in the network and on the platforms.

The teams follow a mature Agile working method, including a considerable amount of DevOps and CI / CD.

As a Product Owner you work directly with the OSS scrum teams for the backlog refinement and sprint planning, but also in the sprints on tickets, changes and early acceptance.

Within T-Mobile we do the software development work according to the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFE) with Value Streams and Release Trains.

As Product Owner, you will organize every 4 sprints the Product Increment planning workshops together with the Product Owners of the adjacent teams.

Examples of your scope :

You will be responsible for collecting all Epics and Stories in scope of his team(s), for the year plan but also continuously during the year.

You will will help the stakeholders getting the requested features through the intake and refinement process, helping in clarifying the business value and the development impact.

You will do the same with incidents that are discovered or reported by stakeholders.

You will ensure that all Epics and Stories are ordered on the backlog with the right priority and that this order is used in the PI and sprint planning.

In the development phase you will coordinate acceptance testing and make sure the items are formally accepted before release on production.

And last but not least, you will be responsible for all quality aspects and the full lifecycle of your product’. This entails initiating Epics to analyse, test and improve the OSS within scope.

Wat breng je mee?

  • The PO function requires academic thinking and working level and at least 6 years working experience in a relevant and preferably similar role and setting.
  • The OSS domain is quite technical, so experience within a similar role within an IT or Technical environment is definitely an asset.
  • Good knowledge of multi-play telecom services and networks would highly be appreciated, but not mandatory.

  • At least 3 year working experience with Scrum / Agile software development processes is needed and some basic knowledge of SAFE.
