The Business Group Dairy Essentials develops, produces, markets and sells a range of Cheese, Butter and Milk Powder products.

Within this Business Group we are looking for an experienced Enterprise S&OP Planner for the department ’Dairy Supply Chain’ (DSC) in Amersfoort within the Operating Company Trade Valorisation & Allocation’ (TVA).

This Operation Company is part of de Business Group Dairy Essentials, but works very closely with the other Business Groups.

TVA ensures the valorization of all milk streams within FrieslandCampina to maximize the return to our member farmers. For this purpose we develop decision models and forecast models.

The DSC department is responsible for the planning of the milk streams from farmers to our factories and between our factories on an operational (bi-

weekly, 13 weeks horizon), tactical (monthly, 18 months horizon), and strategic level (yearly, 10 years horizon).

on experience of planning processes, the role of Enterprise S&OP Planner at FrieslandCampina could be just the career move you are looking for.

Every month, you will be responsible for running and maintaining our 18 months S&OP plan called our E-S&OP model within our Dairy Supply Chain department with the objective to optimize the value of our milk across all Business Groups.

You will monthly prepare the Enterprise S&OP plan and S&OP meetings by a high level of interaction with the Customers Supply Chain teams, S&OP hubs and Operating Companies across our Business Group.

As well as preparing and executing the tactical planning processes, we will look at you to create and maintain our planning models and take responsibility for their continuous improvement.

In addition, you will work on a number of projects that will be key to ensuring optimal business decision making.Proactively supporting management by developing scenarios with clear implications and solutions in order to realise the FC strategy will be just as important.

Accurate and timely in your work, you are used to working with advanced planning information systems and proactive in initiating and realising improvements.

What’s more, you have a flair for being able to take a birds eye view of a business and are happy both setting up and running improvement projects.

In short, it’s a role that involves working with a lot of colleagues around the company, ensuring our Operating Companies and total Supply Chain are realising our FC strategy and to process our milk streams in the most effective way, whilst ensuring all milk components are valorized in most optimal way.

Requirements

In order to be successful in this position, we expect you to have the following qualifications :

  • 2 4 Years of relevant quantitative experience in a consultancy firm or a comparable position;
  • Master degree, preferably Econometrics, Industrial engineering or another quantitative Master;
  • Good understanding of the refinery of all milk streams within FC;
  • Fluent Dutch and English;
  • Proactive & effective influencing with communication skills to engage in complex business decision making with Top 200 and Top 70 leaders within FC;
  • Experience in modelling or with a modelling theoretical background;
  • Highly analytical and good commercial / business acumen;
  • Analytical, self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset.
