Senior) Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Expert
ING is looking for a colleague to strengthen the Robotic Process Automation Global Center of Excellence Robotic Process Automation (Within Group COO / Global Transformation Office).
Robotic Process Automation is a strategic global initiative to accelerate our think forward strategy. It is a key enabler for process improvement (together with Global Process Management) and innovation.
The Global CoE RPA is responsible for the strategy and implementation of Robotics across ING.
The RPA expert will be playing a key role in delivering the RPA strategy and robotics as a service to make impact with robots across ING.
The RPA expert will inspire, drive and challenge the counterparts in the local CoEs in Market Leaders, Challenge&Growth, Wholesale and supporting functions.
The RPA expert will be responsible for :
Safeguarding the bank’s RPA strategy (governance, standards, policies & processes, organisational structure, architecture, sustained awareness, etc.)
Ensuring that RPA solutions are realised within the ING Units in accordance with the RPA strategy and framework
Opportunity identification together with the business lines and local CoEs for robotics by providing Discovery services on-site.
Managing the robotics as a service platform by providing one global RPA solution and steering more Units towards this target by steering the backlog for the IT Custodian squad at IBSS / Tech Poland.
Managing the Global scripting squad allocation by steering the demand and service provided by IBSS / Tech Poland
Driving the roadmap towards Cognitive RPA by realising the business case and global service for self learning robotics
Providing tools for process selection and a process library which can be used by the local CoEs to identify the suitable sub processes to be robotized
Functionally coordinating the community of local RPA CoEs
Accelerating the implementation of RPA in all ING units by taking out the impediments that the units face such as budget issues, resource and technical issues.
Chairing the bi-weekly RPA Focus group meetings, monthly bilateral update calls / meetings with Local RPA experts, organising RPA part of community workshops
Managing the RPA business case model, designing the procedures to keep track of the business case in order to report and steer based on benefit management
Ensuring that governance of RPA initiatives are taking place using the standard guidelines by aligning with Global Transformation Office and Local CoEs
Aligning with the strategic programmes on RPA enabling, joined business cases and RPA exit strategies
Managing global services such as architecture support, infrastructure, global risk framework and make sure they are made available to the ING Units
Managing and mitigating the global risks regarding virtual workforce in order to provide a compliant service to the ING Units
Keeping up-to-date of all relevant RPA developments by attending conferences / webinars, meeting vendors, consultants and other organisations using RPA and sharing this knowledge within the RPA community
Initiating proofs of concept in the area related to RPA when new technology becomes available in the market.
Working together with the Global Analytics Unit with AI Experts to seek for synergy with RPA
Managing the RPA Vendor relationships together with procurement
Creating and fostering a culture within ING to proactively robotize the eligible manual processes
Creating awareness within ING for RPA at various levels by giving demos, workshops and presentations and assisting Local RPA Experts with awareness initiatives
Working with Global Process Management to design and maintain a process improvement process that includes RPA
Providing Global RPA Training courses
The Knowledge & Experience that we look for in a candidate are :
At least 3-5 years working experience in the Financial Services industry
Process management knowledge (black belt is plus)
Experience in robotic process automation
Structured, disciplined approach with a focus on quality and delivery within time and budget
IT knowledge is a plus
Scrum / Agile, Continuous Delivery and working with DevOps teams (Product owner certification is a plus)
The RPA expert should have the competencies and behaviours as mentioned below :

Fluent speaking and writing skills in English

Academic background (Bachelor or Master degree)
