As HR Business Partner, based out of our global HQ, you are responsible for the deployment of key HR processes and policies within the HQ organisation, thereby executing the HR Strategy at the company headquarters as set out by the Head of HR for HQ.

These processes include, but are not limited to performance management, development, remuneration & reward, employee engagement, etc.

You will also proactively guide the delivery of HR services (i.e., Talent Acquisition, Employee Administration, Payroll) based on a solid understanding of both HR processes and the organisation’s needs.

You will work closely with the Global Head of HR for IT & PVC and the business to understand and address specific business programs and / or issues and supports local organizational capabilities development with HR interventions.

You will be a Process owner for specific designated HQ HR process. You will act as a sparring partner for Global Head of HR for IT & PVC and managers on local implications and solutions for managers and / or employees in employee relations procedures.

You will work with the Head of HR for HQ to prepare, manage and support local industrial / labor relations activities. You will be the dedicated point of contact for a specific portfolio of departments & people managers.

These departments can be characterised as fast changing and complex. You ensure that your client portfolio is implementing HR processes in line with our ISO 13485 certification, in order to be EU MDR complaint.

  • Deploying key HR processes within your client portfolio, such as Performance Management and Development, Talent Reviews and Employee Survey analysis & follow up actions (Process ownership).
  • Supporting people managers with all staffing related topics, such as recruitment, transfers, on-boarding, job grading, promotions, performance improvement, dismissals, etc.
  • Support and facilitate the development of managers in people management and manager self-service for HR-related processes (ie position management & organisation charts, job requisitions, etc).
  • Build high performing teams by proactively providing coaching & support related to team challenges & issues by having regular touchpoints with people managers and teams and by taking preventive measures to resolve any potential conflicts.
  • Manage employee health, well-being & safety in area of scope through proactively managing absenteeism, supporting managers and employees in the management of sickness cases, taking preventive actions and facilitating re-integration plans.
  • Continuous improvement and standardisation of all processes, policies & tools used in the HQ for HR related work and play an active role in improvement plans & projects.
  • Act as an ambassador for HQ, fostering relationships on best practice sharing and discussing local implementations of global processes, act as HQ counterpart and assist Regional HRBP’s when necessary.
  • Ensuring that you and your client portfolio are implementing HR processes in line with our ISO 13485 certification, in order to be EU MDR complaint.
  • Managing and participating in (Ad hoc) people related projects in line with HR strategy for the HQ. (Examples : Launch Buddy Program, Diversity & Inclusion initiatives).
  • Key skills, knowledge and experience

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree - preferably from Human Resources Management, Social Sciences or Business Administration
  • At least 5 years of Human Resources experience, of which minimum 3 years of business partnership role
  • Experienced in business partnering with management and HR experts to implement effective HR interventions
  • Track record in leading & facilitating organisation change program(s) and facilitating all aspects related to industrial relations
  • Strong business acumen in order to support department’s organization design & capability development efforts
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Knowledge of Dutch Employment & Labour Law
  • Strong Excel & PPT skills
  • Basic HRIS systems knowledge and data literacy
  • Strong relationship management and communication skills with the demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders on people & HR decisions
  • Operational excellence mindset & hands-on attitude

  • Ability to show leadership in difficult and / or complex situations
