DMSC, while focusing on the Materials Cluster will of course also support other DSM units with its competences.

Process Development Engineer
You are directly contributing to the Business Groups and DSM’s Innovation Center in the DSM Materials Powerhouse in the area of process development.
Activities can be short-term (plant support) or medium-long term (projects). Focus of this vacant position will be on second line plant trouble shooting.
You will be responsible to contribute to the realization of the Operations targets of the Business Groups. You will lead and support activities / projects in :
Your contribution ranges from making available your technical know-how and in project management. You will act at the interface between product development, process R&D and manufacturing with a strong focus on polymer process design.
You will work in a multidisciplinary team consisting of chemical engineers, chemists, product developers and production staff.
Your work will result in a deeper understanding of our DSM processes and lead to process improvements. You will be stimulated and coached to develop yourself in process development and improvement projects as well as in scientific programs.
At the same time, you will get the opportunity to develop your personal skills in project leadership, engaging people through multiple interfaces, negotiation skills, building on your creativity and communication.
