EDI Specialist - Operations
To contribute to both short and long term strategic planning for the business by improving the electronic document interchange (EDI) with key accounts, managing the processes and supporting the commercial policies, ensuring they support the business goals and adhere to local regulations and legalities.
The EDI specialist will manage all EDI topics and related activities for ASICS Europe. Involves coordination of EDI initiatives with existing business partners, implementations with new partners, as well as ongoing maintenance and support.
Moreover, EDI specialist will be the responsible to lead and improve service and experience that we are offering to customers via EDI communication together with the Customer Service, Orderbook, Sales and DTC commercial teams and will influence rest of the organization to have more customer focus organization.
Lead EDI management and operations for new EDI accounts and suppliers onboarding.
Document, prioritize and track any development done to support the sales targets thru the EDI communication.
Organize testing for any changes or developments done in the tools.
Close collaboration with ASICS EDI brokers.
Point of contact between development team and internal and external users as well as brokers.
Close cooperation with the development team to drive forward the EDI capabilities and improvements.
Support EDI key user community in line with the sales commercial policies.
Ensure the fulfilment of the operational processes within the EDI communications.
Set / Manage / Report KPI s.
Identify EDI system process improvements.
Maintain and establish a repository of data for the users (Item data, technical descriptions, Multilanguage documentation, etc).
Support EMEA subsidiaries in account conversion to the EDI communication.
Align processes with Master Data team to ensure data quality during the life cycle of the articles.
Define and support processes for both Wholesale and DTC sales channels
Any other related duty in relation to our EDI strategy.

Follows up things up to completion.
University degree or equivalent experience in IT, operations or business.
5+ years of relevant working experience in a IT or operations position.
Industry experience, ideally FMCG or Sports Brand
Expert knowledge in EDI systems and standards.
SAP FMS knowledge is an advantage
