Job description

The role of SME Commercial Manager will be focused on further growth and developing our SME segment globally via our E-commerce platform, Agora or direct.

In this role, you will be responsible for the success of the SME customer segment by increasing the exposure and usage of the platform via our key distribution channels.

To become successful it is key to make use of commercial insights and influencing key internal stakeholders to successfully manage the whole process from start to finish.

This includes the gathering of business requirements translating these into benefits to make necessary system or process improvements.

In this role you will have frequent contact with our internal IT and external partners to make these changes happen.

By making the right decisions on solutions to develop, channels to capitalise and using your insights and previous experience you will identify new opportunities, services and partners.

Working closely with the Global channel manager you will share your knowledge to facilitate their success. The SME Commercial Manager will be responsible for developing their long-term business plan to detail how the SME segment can further support the growth and development of our business.

This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) located at the Atradius headquarters in Amsterdam.

Main responsibilities

  • Responsible for the overall SME development and distribution strategy via our commerce platform, Agora. You will take the lead in managing the different distribution channels, and prioritising and allocating appropriate time and resource linked to bottom line revenue, recognising the capacity of the platform and considering the budget vs revenue it will bring.
  • Technical Development of Agora

  • Manage continued development of Agora
  • Prioritising the requirements of the business, the capacity of the platform and the financial impact in order to support the continuous optimisation of Agora.
  • Lead the migration of existing customers onto the Agora platform
  • Implement additional products to be sold through the platform
  • Drive the geographical expansion of Agora through the Atradius Collections or partners
  • Develop Agora to enable debt placements through internal and external partners
  • Create and devise new external services that can be sold through the Agora platform
  • Job requirements

  • Relevant Industry knowledge and experience gained within a Collections or Financial services environment is preferred
  • Experience with driving performance of a platform, product or service
  • Excellent communications skills both written and verbal, with ability to adapt your message for different audiences and to drive your objectives forward.
  • Graduate calibre or equivalent working experience
  • Excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise, manage multiple projects and work well under pressure.
  • Developed ability to achieve deadlines, you must be able to multi-task and be prepared to work occasionally with few guidelines.
  • Results focused individual, with strong co-operation skills, who has the drive and energy to achieve concrete goals
  • Excellent English language skills both written and verbal
