What you’ll do
In this role you will work with the European Linksys sales team on a daily basis to manage our commercial channel ecosystem end-
to-end. The role has a heavy focus on pro-active engagement with our main distributors to plan marketing activities that increase the success of existing commercial resellers, onboard resellers on new products or recruit new channel partners.
You will be responsible for our channel program strategy, commercial marketing & promotion planning as well as asset creation, training and campaign execution.
This position requires a deep understanding of IT channel ecosystems and programmatic, scalable thinking. Campaign development skills, channel communication expertise, partner program management, and knowledge of IT infrastructure (networking) products are key success factors for this role.
How you’ll do it
Create and build engagement with key Distribution partners to leverage their various marketing vehicles to further develop the European commercial networking business.
Build inhouse communication channels (face2face, e-mail, phone, social) to engage with Linksys resellers directly.
Develop a reseller channel program to engage channel partners across Europe.
Structure, standardise and convert marketing assets requests from sales into briefings for our Graphic Designers to be able to produce and execute the asset requests.
Develop training and help sales to regularly train resellers on new products and Linksys USP’s
Plan and execute a channel wide promotion strategy for the European region on key Linksys products
Manage multiple agencies for asset production and delivery to accounts in a timely manner.
Manage commercial networking product rollouts in channel with clear deliverables, budget allocations, ROI metrics, and timely execution.
Manage channel related trade shows and presentations set objectives, create pre-event communications and measure ROI.
Manage 3rd party agency relationships with regard to content creation, programs, etc.
Communicate clearly and consistently to management and executives on marketing activities and metrics.
What you’ll need
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Fluency in English is a must. Fluency in German and / or French is a strong advantage.
Experience managing virtual teams and agency partners.
Strategic & programmatic thinking and experience with scaling marketing programs and activities.
A listener mentality and the ability to build rapport and communicate effectively at all levels, and across disciplines.
Ability to construct logical, credible and winning arguments that will persuade senior decision-makers.
Strong attention to detail, pro-active, accurate and a hands-on approach to get things done.
Ability to work independently with a flexible approach and excellent problem solving skills
Approachable personality with above average people skills
Experience should include :
5 years’ work experience in any combination of technology marketing, field marketing, or channel marketing with a concentration in B2B / SMB / SME enterprise.
Demonstrated understanding of business operations, marketing principles and management skills and techniques.
Specific knowledge of the networking industry channel, including IT buying process.
History of successful program execution in B2B channels.
Strong understanding of Channel ecosystem.
Experience managing design and production of channel-specific marketing support materials.
Ability to maintain organization, creativity and professionalism in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
