The Red Hat Sales team is looking for a Key Account Manager to join us in Amsterdam, Netherlands. In this role, you will represent and sell the full Red Hat portfolio of solutions to a targeted list of strategic accounts within the public sector in The Netherlands.
You'll be responsible for bringing leadership to a collaborative-selling environment by building and implementing a strategy for each account while maintaining the highest level of integrity.
We'll need you to have extensive enterprise software sales experience, understand the Dutch Public Sector ecosystem as well as be comfortable selling at the executive level.

Primary job responsibilities
Manage the customer relationship with designated accounts that have significant and strategic importance for Red Hat
Position Red Hat at all levels of an organization, including C-level executives, while maintaining and developing new relationships within the assigned accounts
Manage in parallel multiple complex sales cycles from prospecting to closing across our entire solutions portfolio with a focus on adding value to the customer while forecasting accurately and building pipeline
Envision, implement, and institutionalize new and innovative ways to work with teams to meet customer needs and sales objectives
Sell the complete Red Hat portfolio of solutions and services within your assigned enterprise accounts
Be responsible for leading and maintaining high customer satisfaction level within the assigned accounts
Have an industry approach towards the assigned accounts as part of the Red Hat public team
10+ years of experience in enterprise IT sales with a successful record in managing complex multinational and multicultural enterprise or global accounts
Demonstrable experience in creating and implementing account strategies, delivering against committed forecasts, and overachieving sales targets
Experience selling applications, middleware, cloud, or consulting solutions to customers in the Public Sector
Excellent network within Dutch Public Sector
Demonstrable understanding of the market and competition
Solutions-sales experience in a company with multiple offerings and solutions
Personal motivation to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of and passion for open source technology
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Dutch
Be an excellent team player, working together with sales, marketing, and solutions architects within the Red Hat public team
