The opportunity

We’re looking to hire a the Head of Sales Retail Benelux who will be in charge of leading a team of 5 senior account managers managing customer portfolio of circa 20m€ revenue over 3 verticals (Grocery, Foodservice, Specialty Retail) with 50 international customers (Delhaize, Aldi, McDonald’s, C&A, H&M )

As Head of Sales you will define commercial targets for the Retail Benelux Team (5 Senior Account Managers) and you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong business partnerships with our international customers.

A key focus for this segment is retaining customers and growing revenue through new project implementation with a major focus on ecommerce development.

About the team

Being of the Global Sales & Verticals Team, you will work in an international environment with Global customers and colleagues from many European countries (Austria, France, Italy, UK, Spain, Switzerland ).

Your day-to-day responsibilities include

  • Manage a team of 5 Senior Account Managers in Benelux Region, define their objectives and support their development
  • Lead the team to identify new business development areas
  • Make sure Worldline is positioned at a strategic level with the customers : follow-up on customer governance, innovation workshops and strategic / Tactical / operational meetings with our top clients
  • Ensure an optimized client portfolio management and client satisfaction and that the relationship with key customers is taken into account with the team
  • Be accountable for revenue (including revenue forecast reporting) and order entry generation for the BENELUX team
  • Work with various department managers to optimize time to market
  • Improve sales performance with the usage of Salesforce and Miller Heiman methodology
  • Skills we can't do without :

  • Full proficiency in French, Dutch and English
  • 10+ years’ experience in B2B sales 7+ years in Successful relationship sales experience in the Enterprise segment
  • Great at building long-term relationships with top tier enterprise accounts
  • Be a proactive problem solver, identifying issues and taking accountability and ownership for resolving them
  • Good organizational and leadership skills
  • Skills we'd like :

    It would be great if you have the following skills, too :

  • 2+ years’ experience of Sales Team Management
  • Strong ability to understand the drivers of the business of the merchant and his needs for Worldline technology and create the best value proposition
  • Knowledge of the Payment ecosystem
  • Knowledge of the Retail merchants
