By joining as a Junior Next Gen Cloud Consultant, you will work alongside other experienced Cognizant employees delivering solutions to our clients, many of whom are well known brands.
The NextGen Cloud unit within Cognizant, has supported a number of multinational banking, insurance and facility companies delivering a growing portfolio of services spanning both development and support, delivering a large variety of consulting services and Infrastructure support to IT.
Within Cloud practice you will work on next generation Cloud skills of Amazon Web Services (AWS) , Microsoft Azure (Azure) and Google Cloud platform technology providing your expertise on :
Architecture and Sysops skills for AWS, Azure and Google cloud
Transformation Journey and Migration activities
Service Improvements using innovation and addressing pain areas
Process and task Automation
You’ll directly work with client from engaging in Operation, Application migration to cloud, sharing advance technology changes benefiting client through innovation connect and providing them with strategic and operations advice to meet cloud first strategy for client.
In addition to working directly with clients, you will also share your experiences and insights with colleagues to extended team thereby expanding your knowledge and refining approaches in the field of Cloud Journey for client.
In Cognizant, you’ll use your knowledge creatively to influence others. Making important contributions to the analysis, design, and implementation of Cloud support.
Concurrently, you will expand your knowledge and develop your professional skills on an ongoing basis.
We’ll expect you to have an entrepreneurial mind, challenge conventional assumptions and spark thoughtful debate. This is one of the best ways to resolve issues with fresher, smarter answers to our clients’ toughest problems.
Requirements analysis to enable speedy and accurate resolution
Technical process documentation
Support solution teams and client teams throughout the project / program lifecycle through design, build, test, migrate, go-
live, post go-live support
Contribute in knowledge management activities by creating case studies, domain artefacts etc.
Support Service, Incident and change activity as part of daily Operations
Create customer presentations : support the Manager in customer presentations by gathering relevant information
Contribute to building IP through White Papers, solution accelerators etc.
Gather relevant information from the respective teams and coordinate task with Extended team and customer
Prior to starting your first client engagement, you will attend a two-week induction in Spain to ensure you have a solid understanding of Cognizant’s culture and processes.
You will have the opportunity for further training and support by our own Academy to help you achieve your long-term career goals, like working with different cultures, requirement gathering, project management, agile development and many more.
In addition to your day to day activities with project manager and your supervisor, we will assign a mentor from another Cognizant practice to ensure you get all the help and support you need to start your career on the best footing.
Minimum Bachelor's degree (technology or business related degrees are desirable but not essential we are more interested in how you can channel your academic background to add value to our business)
Fluent in Dutch and in English
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to work collaboratively with global project teams, as well as on your own
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Willingness to travel and work to meet deadlines
