About the team
Within the Mechanical and Electrical Engineering department the Electrical Design team is responsible for the design and integration of all (electrical) subsystems that together form a radar or combat management system.
The products we design are used all over the world to build a future we can all trust.
The development of these systems requires a multidisciplinary approach using state of art technology, initiative and teamwork.
Our products operate and are maintained under extreme circumstances. This requires that we look further and push the technical limits of components to meet these challenges.
Within a big organization we haven’t lost our personal touch. We have a great working environment and exceptional colleagues.
About your future job
Together with multidisciplinary (lead) engineers you form the electrical backbone of one of our product groups. You design and integrate subsystems and create electrical models that are used inside our entire organisation from specification, production, testing, integration and customer documentation.
These subsystems come together to create a high tech radar or combat management system.
As a hardware engineer you are involved from start to finish to ensure our products meet the high requirements we are faced with.
We are transitioning to an Eplan based workflow that is highly integrated into our PLM system Windchill. Together you choose the components that are used inside our products, we offer guidance and support from technical experts that help you define our products.
Together we are always looking for ways to improve our processes and tools to ensure we engineer as efficiently as possible.
In a typical day you will : Design electrical schematics in Eplan. Discuss requirements with your lead engineer. Document and ensure are databases are up to date.
Make your own planning and help your colleagues to achieve product milestones.
