As Model Builder you drive the front-end tool development in our digital planning platform Anaplan. You are part of a start-up like team and focus on usability, user experience and engagement for planning tools.
You consult business stakeholders from a wide range of Commercial departments on designing and enhancing the functionality of Anaplan tools.
Ultimately, you make sure that the tooling connects planning of e.g. demand forecasting of an Account Manager with cash flow forecasting of a Controller.
Key tasks will include :
To give an example, Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) is about matching the forecasted steel demand and the available steelmaking capacity to decide an optimum business plan, for which Sales must recruit the customer orders.
The model thereby helps to make strategic choices and optimise the customer and product portfolio. An optimum demand-supply balance also increases the in-time deliveries and customer satisfaction.
You are responsible for the design, support and enhancement of the model.
You will become part of the driving motor of the digital transformation within Commercial.

The Anaplan Centre of Excellence (CoE) is responsible for promoting and applying Anaplan - a tool for collaborative planning - within the Commercial organisation.
This includes modelling business processes in Anaplan and providing information via Anaplan to business users. The main customers are Sales & Marketing, Customer Service, Business Planning & Supply Chain, and Outbound Logistics across Tata Steel in Europe.
