The opportunity

Worldline is looking to hire an experienced Channel Marketing Manager, who will take a critical role in aligning the strategic marketing plans of channel partners with those of our Digital Commerce Go-to-Market plan to build pipeline and drive new sales opportunities.

Digital Commerce focuses on large e-commerce merchants with global reach and payment needs and pursues an agnostic partnership model across the payments and

e-Commerce ecosystem. As a successful hire, you will work with our Indirect Sales team and our partners to develop and execute integrated campaigns associated with generating leads and building awareness.

This is a critical role on the commercial side of the business. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding and a strong experience of B2B and channel marketing and has a proven track record of working hand in hand with experienced sales teams to drive growth.

The position reports to the Marketing Director in the Digital Commerce division. There is also a strong liaison required with our Marketing team at Merchant Services business division.

The team has 8 people working on product marketing, PR & content, campaigns and web, and people dedicated to our market verticals.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include but are not limited to

  • Working with a global team to develop channel marketing strategies and tools that includes a variety of content, events, email, social media and innovative campaign approaches
  • Developing integrated marketing campaigns which are comprised of lead generation, lead acceleration, awareness, and retention elements strategically planned around the stages of the customer journey
  • Designs and executes the strategy in concert with Digital Commerce (DC) Marketing and Global Channel team
  • Promotes DC’s Partner Programs and partner’s use of DC’s marketing tools, campaigns and resources, while training and coaching partner’s marketing staff
  • Facilitates meetings and discussions with an extended team of channel specialists, content marketers, subject matter experts and other constituents to define the appropriate marketing channels and strategies associated with the goals of the go-to-market plan.
  • May solicit input and feedback through direct interaction with Customers or Partners for a greater customer focus

  • Work together with your external stakeholders at the partner as your extended team to co-create and co-market solutions towards their target audience
  • Liaises with multiple organizations across DC, including the product line, business unit, product marketing, and verticals to represent the go-to-market plan and gather feedback to drive the planning process
  • Measures and reacts to success metrics, performs actionable analysis and makes data driven decisions to improve outcomes and ROI

  • You have experience in channel marketing of 3+ years in a similar role
  • You are a brilliant networker and have a passion for working with internal and external partners
  • You have a track record in launching successful partner campaigns and delivering leads and ROI
  • You are a self-starter and demonstrate initiative and responsibility
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate marketing messages
  • Skills we can't do without :

  • Strong abilities in building and developing partner-marketing relationships to drive marketing planning and execution with key partners as well as internal stakeholders
  • Experience in all marketing disciplines, including event, online and web-based marketing as they relate to partners, with an ability to develop integrated marketing programs
  • Market-oriented mindset with the ability of identifying (new) business opportunities
  • Ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders influence through persuasion, negotiation and consensus building
  • Ability to co-develop, drive & implement the channel’s marketing plan and budget
  • Skills we'd like :

    It would be great if you have the following skills, too :

  • Bachelor or Master s degree or equivalent experience
  • Expert skills in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, PowerPoint & Excel
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com
  • Fluent in English verbally and in written
  • Experience in payments, e-Commerce or FinTech
