JOB PURPOSE / ROLE

The (Sr) Account Manager achieves portfolio targets through managing brokers as well as acquisition of new customers and renewal of existing customer relationships.

Builds and enhances relationships with both brokers and customers to ensure long-term profitability and quality of customer portfolio.

Main tasks :

Reach targets of portfolio growth and quality

  • Develop effective broker strategy in line with marketing plan
  • Renew existing policies
  • Identify cross- and up-selling opportunities (including Special Products; Fidelity, Cover One e.d.)
  • Take personal responsibility for the implementation of group-wide quality of service standards
  • Service existing brokers based on broker segmentation
  • Service customer segments based on Operational Manual
  • Interact closely with other core functions
  • Apply commercial underwriting standards to ensure profitability and quality of customer portfolio
  • KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Market knowledge :

  • Expert know-how in specifics of market
  • Ability to build extensive network with close contacts to
  • brokers, market players and opinion leaders

    Business expertise :

  • Ability to generate and convert leads
  • Expert knowledge in sales and negotiation skills
  • Interpersonal skills :

  • Ability to liaise with members of other core functions
  • Ability to convince customers in negotiations
  • ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

    Ability to generate new business opportunities and convert them into profitable long-term relationships.
