Your job - Global Customer Operations Supervisor

As the Global Customer Operations Supervisor you are a member of the Global Customer Operations department and working for the Global Planning and Distribution Organization.

In this role you are responsible for your team of Customer Global Customer Operations Specialists you balance the workload and prioritize activities based on urgencies or business requirements.

Together with your team you pro-active manage the order to cash flows, focus on customer demand fulfillment, solve upcoming problems, goods return flows, ensure customer queries are handled in shortest notice with sense of urgency, and you drive the system and work on process improvements.

You will actively work with all departments within Zimmer Biomet, such as Supply, Forecasting, Demand Control, Warehouse, Finance, Master data, Trade compliance, Regulatory affairs & Global trade system, and HR.

How you do it

  • You will translate the Goals & Objectives set by your manager into individual targets for each team member and will take proper initiatives to meet the expected results;
  • You will organize the customer or country assignment to each individual team member following the commercial regional structure;
  • You will have direct responsibility over key customers or countries;
  • You assist the ICS Manager to proactively monitor Core KPI’s and you are responsible for periodic reviews of operational and performance reports across all regions;
  • You will adhere to the applicable compliance rules & guidelines set within the company and ensure they are followed by the ICS team;
  • You will communicate with all customers or markets and their commercial and / or operational leads on Open Order Books, Back order status, ETA’s, etc.;
  • Together with the Demand Allocation Lead, you will manage the stock allocation and priority settings per order type / urgency to fulfill the customer orders in the most optimum way;
  • You are responsible for daily execution of ICS tasks and first point of contact for your team, and you monitor their performance and personal development plans;
  • You are responsible for developing / providing reporting to drive improvements in OTIF, service a.o.;
  • You Develop and broadcast structural analysis tools and communication with stakeholders;
  • You participate and / or lead cross functional projects.

    Are you next to join us?

  • You have a Bachelor degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or Operations Management or equivalent working and thinking level;
  • You have experience in a similar position and you enjoy working in a multinational environment;
  • You have excellent communication and social skills;
  • You can find root cause by solving problems, develop improvement plans and implement change initiatives / projects;
  • You are experienced in Microsoft Office Suite , and when you have experience with SAP, BW, EA it’s a plus;
  • You are fluent in English, good knowledge of another foreign language is a plus;
  • You have a good understanding of Logistics and Supply Chain processes;
  • You are analytical and interested in medical devices.

    accessible by public transport. Therefore a driver’s license and (willingness to buy) an own car are required.
