Azure Cloud Engineer
Bunzl Continental Europe is going through an IT transformation where a centralized on-premise IT environment is moving to a cloud environment built upon Microsoft Azure Cloud Services.
The Azure Cloud Engineer contributes to our corporate strategies through implementing, monitoring, and maintaining Azure cloud solutions, including major services related to API management, Azure AD, storage, networking, and security.
We are looking for an new team member that is open minded with an engineering mindset to join our Cloud journey. The ideal candidate brings a wide range of technical knowledge and experience and wants to operate in a technical role focused on Azure Cloud.
Knowledge on software development principals is a plus.
Responsibilities
Build capabilities allowing for fast and reliable software development and release for cloud adoption teams;
Work closely with operations and cloud adoption teams to implement scalable and high performance solutions for our platform as a service and internal management tools;
Monitor various platform capacity and health indicators and trends; provide analytics & forecasts for added or reduced capacity as required;
Define, create, maintain, and enhance systems procedures and documentation to ensure the foundations and platform capabilities are fully documented;
Implement and administer Azure instances such as Azure Active Directory, Azure Storage, Azure Load Balancer, API management (APIM) and RBAC;
Administer Identity Access Management (IAM) solutions;
Manage subscriptions, accounts, users, (resource) groups, and billing;
Understands, documents, and supports the underlying business processes, workflows, data and application platforms that depend on Microsoft services;
Working at L2 level on daily operational issues and project tasks involving various technologies
Take ownership of issues, with a sense of urgency and with common sense to resolve within SLA levels;
Engage peers in accordance with processes and procedures to create complete solution designs;
Must be able to effectively coordinate and multi-task across various internal and external IT staff.
Qualifications / Certifications / Skills :
Minimum Education HBO degree or equivalent in Computer and / or Information Technology;
Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104);
Prior experience working at an Shared Service Center / Managed Services company is preferred, and a background in dealing with international teams and remote teams will be a strong plus;
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.

Azure Active Directory / Single Sign On (SSO) / MFA
Azure Blob / Azure Storage
Azure Load Balancer
API services / API management
Azure DevOps
Networking
TCP / IP networking
Router and Firewall management
Preferable experience with Cisco Meraki, SD-WAN
Security
Identity Access Management (IAM)
Protecting Azure Active Directory accounts against compromise
Reducing the attack surface of all Azure resources
Infrastructure as code
