A CoE IM advisor, within the Global HR (GHR) Community of Expertise Performance and Reward. Performance and Reward consists of four key areas : Performance Management, International Mobility, Remuneration Regulations and Reward.

Job description

You are responsible for co-designing the global International Mobility policies, processes, supporting tools and governance in close cooperation with Community of Expertise partners to fulfil our ambition to deliver a human centric employee approach to our international mobile employees for the entire International Mobility journey.

Recently a new target operating model has been implemented, where a team of IM consultants part of Centralized People Services (based in Manila) is servicing the IM population.

Next to this, we have 2 case managers which are part of the Signature Service team in Global People Services who are servicing our Long Term Assignees, Commuters and Senior Foreign Local Hires.

The end to end accountability of the IM journey sits with the International Mobility CoE. The activities of the CoE consists of the following :

  • Developing, reviewing and updating all IM policies
  • Leading technical meeting for our LTAs / Commuters and explaining Balance Sheets
  • Responding to escalation and exceptions requests raised by the Case Managers of GPS or IM consultants with CPS
  • Providing consultancy & advice to business (i.e., to HRDs) around on international mobility procedures and processes for our expats
  • Supporting the GPS and CPS team with continuous improvement
  • Participating in HRMT meetings for dedicated business line and share insights in the IM population with statistics & analysis
  • Managing the performance of external vendors based on SLA KPIs in quarterly performance review meetings
  • Running RFPs and selecting external vendors
  • In this role, you are supporting on behalf of the IM team to co-create Workday as part of the retrofit for a global consistence way of working for IM / P&R.

    Also you have an appetite to work on the full interfacing between the tooling of the external vendors. An interest in digital innovations that could be leveraged to improve user experience and process efficiency will be an advantage.

    Your work environment

    You will be working in Amsterdam, within Global HR, the Performance & Reward team. This is a flexible working environment, where all Communities of Expertise are working together to deliver on the HR strategy and implementation.

    The International Mobility team is a small and energetic team of young professionals with positive spirit and good humour.

    The current CoE team consist of 1 Head of IM and 1 senior IM advisor. In your role, you will be closely working with the IM Case Managers of GPS and the IM support team of CPS.

    Skills required

    Master's level or equivalent by experience.

    More than 3 year work experience in an International Mobility department, or consulting practice, dealing with systems, policies, data and multiple stakeholders.

    Affinity with IT and tooling knowledge concerning international assignments.

    Experience with developing guidelines and processes in a global business environment.

    Fluent in English and preferably Dutch.

    Knowledge of Assignment Pro, Workday and Excel tools is preferred. Not so much in a user role, but in an architect role.
