Your new job :

The Senior HR generalist is the binding factor between the several functions on site, (EMEA) leadership and our Centres of excellence (COE’s).

Acts as coach and confidant for employees and site leadership. Maintains all relevant internal and external contracts and ensures in the spot HR Service and Delivery in regular business issues / demands and several internal and country wide projects.

Guides and supports the Directors and leadership teams as a business partner on local and global level to make effective people decisions in areas such as reduction in force and Knowledge sharing Organizational effectiveness, training and development, reward and recognition, performance management and employee relations, while securing compliance to Belgian legislation and local agreements.

Ensures all HR activity supports the business strategy and priorities are focused on the business critical issues and data integrity in our HR tools and systems.

Is responsible for generating reliable statistics to all stakeholders. Takes ownership for implementing HR initiatives to ensure delivery through the management and global team.

Is part of the HR BeNeLux team and reports to the HR Country Leader BeNeLux.

  • At least a Bachelor in Human Resources or related disciplines
  • Minimal 5 years of experience as HR business partner
  • Proven skills on HR project management with the ability to drive activities to a conclusion
  • Technical HR knowledge across a broad generalist scope including Dutch legislation, training and development, performance management and the ability to build strong relationships in a complex environment
  • Understanding of an HR business advisor role including strong influencing, partnership, networking, coaching and facilitation skills,
  • A positive and proactive approach with a drive for continuous improvement
  • Sound judgment and good problem solving abilities to deal with complex and delicate situations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English
  • Excellent PC skills, including knowledge HRIS systems (e.g. : PeopleSoft)
  • Resilience and the ability to accept and manage change
  • Confidence and decisiveness
  • Good presentation skills
  • Success in dealing with Work Council consultation processes is a plus
