Responsible for defining, developing, and implementing the brand strategy for specific products, product lines, lines of business, or on a company-wide campaign basis.
Applies consumer insights and market intelligence to the process of developing approaches to linking a brand identity to the company and its products.
Collaborates with business units, regions, and channels to understand their market needs and links brand positioning to maximize customer loyalty and connection to the product and company.
Establishes and executes brand strategies and programs to achieve commercialization, profitability, business growth and market share objectives.
Partners with cross-functional teams to lead brand planning efforts and develop brand personality in conjunction with marketing, product marketing, product management, market research and marketing communications functions.
The Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, execution and tracking of the marketing strategy by supporting and mentoring the product management or Brand Management team, depending on division
Leads the creation, alignment and execution of the Upper Extremities marketing plans, with support from the Director, Brand Marketing as necessary
Enable, educate, influence and align the Upper Extremities marketing team to the European marketing strategy and define, track and communicate on key performance indicators
Manage talent, alignment and effectiveness within the team .
Build strong relationships and connections to the US-based Business Unit team
Lead the research, launch, or reposition activities around products to maximize sales and growth using, for example, the 4P’s and Big Picture methodology
Work closely with the Senior Marketing Leaders to support and set the strategy for continual growth through internal and external education strategies, customer engagement campaigns and creation / execution of Annual Marketing Plan with focus on tactics following marketing objective / source of volume
Lead key initiatives to drive skill levels, efficiency, process excellence and communication among the sales / marketing organization.
Drives development of excellent education and customer engagement tools, programs, etc.
Partner with Brand Management and Innovative Solutions team members to ensure executional excellence and communication
Lead new product launches to develop and execute high impact launches
Combine people management with portfolio management, this role requires an element of Brand Management to ensure appropriate focus across the portfolio
Liaise with Sales Leadership on Country / Regional level to ensure alignment in planning & execution
Provide analysis of business performance and key performance indicators
Provides or ensures continuous training and development of direct report(s)
Act as a role model for global organizational, social and moral values
Potential for a minimum of 50% Business Travel
Qualifications / Tenure :
10+ years of marketing experience of which a significant portion is within Pharma / med-tech industry.
Bachelors degree in Economics, Marketing, Engineering, Life Science or relevant field (Masters or MBA highly desirable)
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Fluency in English (verbal and written) is essential
Proven successful track record in leading marketing teams and projects incl. marketing plans, product launches and campaigns within healthcare industry.
Extensive knowledge of product management processes, planning and execution
Demonstrated leadership in innovating in the field of processes, marketing activities and marketing excellence
Strong track record as leader of cross-functional projects
