What you’ll do

As a Test Architect, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team working closely together with engineers and architects, to advance our product that combines both, agile cloud based and embedded system development.

The role will challenge you to work in a highly agile environment where continuous qualification and integration go hand in hand with implementing safety-critical features.

Work with the product architect on design for test-ability

Define the test strategy and deploy it in the teams by performing an exemplary role

Develop and maintain the test plan

Extend and improve the test infrastructure

Relentless automation of tests

Create software test specifications and participate in the development of test cases accordingly

Lead the testing activities

Inspire and coach development teams

What you’ll need

Bachelor, Master education level in computer science or equivalent

Right attitude as a test professional with ISTQB and / or TMap foundation

Experience as a test architect and / or test-lead for 3 years in a high-tech systems environment where safety is an important aspect

Experience in writing high-level test plans based on requirements and design documents

Experience with test-driven development (TDD) and behavioral driven development (BDD)

Experience with methodologies such as context-driven testing and / or testing in an agile context like Safe

Good communication skills and a proactive attitude

Good understanding of hydride systems of cloud services connecting to embedded applications

What’s nice to have

Programming and automation background

Familiarity with safety regulations in an agile organization (e.g. ISO26262 and ASPICE)

Experience with CI / CD pipeline (e.g. Jenkins, Azure GitHub)
