11 dagen geleden

Ace & Tate is always looking for talented people who share our passion for technology, design and creativity. We are now in quest of a veteran Technical Director to lead our development teams.

You will be responsible for the technical backbone of Ace & Tate. You have an extensive background in technology, but understand how to speak 'business'.

You are comfortable in a digital environment that moves at a fast pace. This position is fulltime and immediately available at our HQ in Amsterdam.

The mission of our new 'Technical director' is to use technology as a force for operational excellence and innovation. Implementing the latest emerging technologies whilst keeping our technical infrastructure running smoothly.

You understand that the technical side of a company should not just reflect the business, but that in fact it is the business.

You are driven to use technology to accelerate it. Since we own every step in the value chain of creating eyewear, technology plays a key role in our global expansion.

Ace & Tate sells 'direct to consumer'. Our focus is to elevate the entire customer experience; from the design and production of our frames, to marketing them on our site and in our stores.

You will be in charge of the entire technology stack. We are executing an omnichannel strategy’ (buzzword bingo!) where our online and offline experience are closely integrated.

Building a seamless customer journey across all channels with 0% friction. All of our orders are digital orders and run through the same commerce hub.

This means working in close relation with cross functional, agile teams on the frontstage as well as the backstage.

You are a great leader above all. People in your team love to work with you and you lead by example. Mentoring and coaching developers comes natural to you.

You gain the trust of our founders by managing for results, reporting on clear metrics and by building a well executing team.
