Role Summary :

As a Finance Business Partner (FBP) based at our Roosendaal site, you will have a mix of local and regional functions and responsibilities.

Your primary role will be to assist the Regional Finance Business Partner with forecasting and budgeting processes as well as other business partner related activities for the Benelux region.

Additionally, as part of the wider EMA FBP team, you will work actively with the site leadership in driving the End User MRO business in terms of productivity, efficiency, utilization, and growth to support the organization to achieve its goals.

As an FBP, you will use data as a strategic asset to provide decision support, accurate planning and forecasting, and productivity and efficiency analysis across our network of Quick Response Repair Centres across the EMEA region.

Responsibilities & Requirements : The Flowserve Flow Control Benelux function is located in Roosendaal and employs about 40 colleagues.

The working atmosphere is informal with a hands-on mentality.

As part of this highly collaborative team, your responsibilities will include. :

Provide proactive business and financial support by performing detailed forecasting and variance analysis, identifying important trends and insights to enable the operations to achieve its objectives

Provide forward-looking insights and value-added analysis to leadership regarding profitability, competitive landscape, products, customers, etc.

Make recommendations for potential improvements and promote the active use of financial data to drive business success and proactively identify potential risks and opportunities

Drive Financial performance management including the annual budgeting, preparation of the monthly forecasts and communication of results

Lead processes and initiatives to reduce primary working capital and maximize operating cash flow

Meet all reporting deadlines with comprehensive, accurate, complete, and responsive data

Build an understanding of the business environment in order to provide tailored support

Develop strong working relationships with EMA team colleagues and Corporate functions

Work closely with the Regional FBP on challenging projects in the region

To be an effective member of the FBP team, you should be able to call upon a mix of education, skills and experience, including :

Minimum bachelor’s degree in Financial Accounting

Minimum 5 years of relevant finance & accounting experience in an international business environment

Solid working knowledge of US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley 404 requirements

Experience with SAP BPC planning and consolidation tool

Language skills : fluent in English is a must
