Scope of the position :
The Marketing Communications Digital Specialist, EMEA will help take our regional marketing programs to the next level by leveraging Corning’s digital communications channels.
In this role, you will create, manage, deploy and deliver marketing / communications tactics to support EMEA MarCom Account Managers in executing EMEA business strategies, with a strong focus on existing and emerging digital channels.
You are a motivated, energetic, and creative thinker who will be involved in a broad range of marketing functions, including social media, advertising, live and digital events and online and offline marketing campaigns.
The role is also responsible for daily maintenance of sales communications, literature processes, data tracking, and supporting regional activities and new product launches.
Major Responsibilities :
Project Management The Marketing Communications Digital Specialist, EMEA works with internal clients to develop integrated marketing communications tactics to support global, regional, and / or affiliated brands in accordance with the EMEA Marcom strategy.
Works with MarCom account managers to support and deliver their marketing plans
Works with internal clients (Commercial, Business Operations, Customer Service, Scientific Support and other stakeholders) to support their goals and strategies
Manages MarCom projects from start to finish including gathering materials, analyzing competition, presenting ideas and recommendations to Marketing Manager and other internal clients.
Manages project budgets as well as estimates from suppliers
Leads the execution and implementation of the tactical components of the plan
Manages planning of MarCom activities, by collecting information in cross-functional meeting with projects’ stakeholders, updating the online planning, sharing projects and timelines with the Marcom team, reporting on planning status with internal clients. Marketing Management
Develops and implements promotional activities and events, exhibitions, digital marketing, communication campaigns, and print media to promote products, solutions, and services across the product life cycle.
Contributes to the development, coordination, and execution of EMEA marketing programs, including content marketing, digital campaigns, lead and demand generation, events, affiliated and partner co-marketing campaigns, and social media campaigns.
Managing the creation, production and publication of online and offline material including presentations, articles, videos, marketing collateral, and web and social media content, brochures, catalogues and other sales and marketing collateral in either digital or printed form.
Works closely with MarCom teams in United States, Europe, and Asia.
Consistently considers digital approaches first Lead Generation
Working with business teams to develop a deep understanding of the buying journey and personas for assigned market segments.
Works with marketing automation, web, and ecommerce specialists to develop lead generation and lead nurture strategies and tactics.
Optimizing programs, as necessary Demand Generation
Works with the internal design team and, occasionally, outside agencies to develop advertising programs
Collaborates with the Digital Marketing Specialist to develop social media and search marketing programs
Works with the Digital Content Lead and internal stakeholders to manage the web site presence and assets Events Management, Messaging and Communications
Managing the events planning, and budget tracking with MarCom teams and internal clients.
Managing, coordinating, supervising, digital or live events, such as tradeshows, conferences, seminar, webinars, virtual summits, regional meetings, customer events, regionally or locally.
Developing integrated marketing communications programs that maximize attendance and engagement before, during, and after events utilizing email, social, web, and other channels
Working with the Event team to develop booth layouts, in-booth messaging, and graphics
Supporting internal clients before, during and after events to ensure booth (virtual) structure, marketing materials, samples, and other required materials are shipped to and from live event and, if necessary, attend live (or virtual) event to provide assistance.
Improving events technical solutions by identifying innovative alternatives and working on processes optimization with internal or external resources. Content Marketing
Generating content for multi-channels and translating complex information into appealing messages and stories.
Writing, editing, and proofreading (personally or with external vendors) sales collateral, application notes, and other marketing materials
Supports MarCom counterparts in other CLS regions with information and materials that can be repurposed for use in other geographies.
Attribution and ROI Tracking
Becoming familiar with Corning’s customer relationship management and marketing automation tools.
Tracks results and reports back (to MarCom, internal clients, other stakeholders)
Providing relevant campaign metrics, as well as return on investment analysis

Education and / or Experience Required :
Marketing or communications degree
Minimum three years’ experience in a similar role, with a digital focus
Familiarity with life sciences industry or willingness to learn
Project management experience
