Job Description In this role, you have the opportunity to lead the solution design of very large and complex, innovative customer proposals covering the entire Healthcare continuum.

You will act at the core of developing elements for future configured solutions, by driving creation of innovative strategic pursuits.

Examples are : design of medical cities, nationwide hospital renovation projects, development of new go-to-market models i.

e. becoming a service provider. Focused on improvement of the quadruple aim in a long-term partnership with customers and others.

Drive the development of the solution design for configured, or customized solutions in the opportunity development process in collaboration with our Customer, Philips and external experts.

Outline the desired end to end solution and sound commercial proposition based the customer needs, while matching the customer requirements and willingness to pay.

Architectures the best combination of solution and commercial proposition satisfying the customer needs based on the relevant input of the experts inside and outside Philips.

Support markets in the shaping of customer transformation as well as influencing the procurement process. On Integrated Solution Center level you will be accountable for leading the E2E solution design including innovation of selected solution modules in First-of-a-kinds and leading the knowledge transfer to markets for First-to-market proposals.

  • You are responsible for Solution scoping in interaction with customers and market colleagues; Supporting LSP opportunity qualification on mutual attractiveness and viability;
  • Driving integral design of solutions by seamlessly consolidating input from local and global Philips SMEs as well as external domain experts and partners;
  • Capture innovative solution components in the Knowledge Hub; Knowledge transfer to Markets to inspire replication; Knowledge transfer to Business solution teams and integrated solutions marketing team for development of configured solutions / solution elements;
  • Expected travel : 25%, with peak workloads driven by customer timelines. You are a part of the Strategic Pursuit Team (formerly known as Integrated Solution Center) and you will report to the head of this department.

    The team consists of multiple Strategic Business Architects, Bid Managers and Financial Business Consultants. The team is about to be merged with the International Business team, which means you will also have colleagues in Sales Export Management and Direct export Sales Operations.

    Your team home base is Eindhoven or Amsterdam and your working area is in virtual sales project teams in International Markets.

  • The team is part of the BLX market organization, with daily engagement of all other International markets. To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience University degree in Biomedical Science, Medicine, Technical Business Administration, Industrial design, Healthcare management, Public Administration or relevant;
  • A clinical background (strong preference) 5+ years Health Economics experience; 5+ years Business Development experience;
  • Good understanding of how Hospitals are managed; Ability to engage at C-suite level, with customer and within Philips; Being able to draft a first solution outline based on incomplete information and excellent problem solving skills;
  • Ability to navigate and influence in a matrix organization both at markets as well as business unit level; Deep understanding of various business models, especially from a delivery, payment and contracting perspective;
  • Passion for working with different cultures; Fluent in English and preferably one other major language; A proven track record in solution design in cross functional team settings for long-term strategic partnerships;
  • Expertise developed in hospital planning services, donor funds, managed technology services and greenfield turnkey projects;
  • Able to develop and support a negotiation strategy Strategic thinking, conceptually strong and able to translate it into specific actions.
