Following strong growth in the Gigafactory sector Arcadis are looking to attract the strongest talent to deliver for global clients.

We are looking for an experienced Planner to provide expertise for automotive and battery production facilities.

Arcadis are leading the market and clients on global projects. The successful individual will lead and project manage a team of cost consultants across this programme.

Role accountabilities :

In this role, you will act as the Associate Planner for the delivery of large Manufacturing facilities, where we are providing the full suite of Professional Services including Project Management, Cost Management, Planning, Design and Surveys, so there will be a team delivery approach from Arcadis.

Therefore, this role will include collaborating with the internal multi-discipline team.

You will be overseeing the Planning / Schedule Management and Controls functions on multiple and complex projects or a programme or portfolio of projects

Youll be responsible for ensuring all work and outputs are executed to meet project or programme needs and objectives whilst also developing and growing the community capability and client account plans.

Responsibilities include :

  • Managing the delivery of planning / project controls work for a project or for a number of projects, working with senior stakeholders and operationally managing a planning / project controls team
  • Implementing industry best practice and planning / schedule management requirements
  • Communicating planning / schedule information
  • Leading the reporting of progress, status and risk
  • Leading the integration of planning, project management, commercial management and project control functions
  • Developing and administering contract planning requirements
  • Reviewing supply chain performance and leading the implementation of supply chain planning / schedule procedures and requirements
  • Reviewing and implementing the education and coaching requirements for the team, supply chain, and client in relation to planning / schedule requirements and best practice
  • Translating project controls objectives into plans, costs and schedules, managing finances across the project life cycle in order to meet the profit and budgetary targets of the project
  • Managing relationships with key internal stakeholders in order to identify opportunities for improved efficiencies and collaboration across projects, to ensure client satisfaction
  • Acting as a technical expert within own project, providing subject matter advice to colleagues within the project, in order to support successful delivery in line with project objectives
  • Qualifications & Experience :

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent
  • Relevant professional qualification or chartered status
  • Previous experience in a similar role
