The Opportunity :
The Energy team is part of ING Sector Coverage which covers the whole energy value chain from oil & gas production, mid / -downstream and power and renewables.
This position is a part of the team’s Portfolio Management function, an instrumental unit that provides critical portfolio management and reporting foundation support to the origination activity.
Responsibilities will include :
Lead and coordinate the Know-Your-Customer due diligence process for new and existing borrowers including client outreach for documentation requirements
Maintain the integrity of Energy portfolio data (Borrower information, loan exposure, rating / credit periodic review, other risk reporting metrics such as PD, LGD, RWA, etc.)
Support Portfolio Management Team Lead to deliver portfolio / risk reports in relation to the Energy team’s management of its $6.
0bn Energy lending portfolio in the Americas
Validate and provide the Origination team with portfolio information
Support various internal projects in relation to transaction management and regulatory reporting such as KYC reporting, stress testing, portfolio concentration / income analysis, internal audit, risk rating calibration, etc.
Work with internal stakeholders such as Energy’s global business management team, Risk Management, Operations, Agency to automate and streamline portfolio management and reporting processes and establish best practices
Coordinate and work with offshore portfolio support teams
Become the super-user and day-to-day functional user support for various ING’s portfolio management systems to help management and Origination team utilize available information effectively
At least 1 year of experience in KYC / compliance and / or accounting / business analytics / project management / portfolio reporting
Strong academic background with a Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business
Strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills with the ability to multitask and deliver under tight deadlines
Excellent interpersonal and verbal / written communication skills to ensure effective communication with various local and global teams
Excellent Microsoft skills (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
Experience working with large data (Pivots, V-Lookups) is valued
