You have 8+ years’ experience with increased responsibility in accounting or finance related field (in reporting, financial controlling and / or audit experience) preferably in a multinational and multicultural organization.

You communicate confidently in English (both spoken and written) and have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting / Finance / Economics or a related field.

You interact in an inspiring, supportive and challenging way. You have a hands-on mentality and are very accurate when it comes to working with details.

You enjoy and are good at focusing on data quality, enabling to deliver the right insights for the business.

You have a proven record of successful leadership, developing people, providing support, coaching, training and giving career direction to others.

    The Group Financial Controlling team leads the Financial Controlling Function providing support to the three businesses IKEA Retail, Ingka Centres and Ingka Investments.

    Group Reporting is a team (currently 6 members) of enthusiastic dedicated professionals, part of Group Financial Controlling.

    The team manages the consolidated reporting process of the full Ingka Group, works closely together with the various stakeholders in a constructive way and supports the Group with technical accounting knowledge.

    The Group Reporting Team Leader will report to the Group Reporting Manager.

    As Group Reporting Team Leader you are an Ingka ambassador and use your knowledge and experience to work together with all local Finance teams to steer towards growth, optimal performance and sustained long term profitability.

    More specifically, this means you will :

  • Lead, develop and motivate a team of three Group Reporting Financial Controllers to lead on identified work areas and drive knowledge sharing, team work, competence development and succession planning.
  • Secure quality and timeliness of global financial reporting for consolidated group purposes.
  • Lead the coordination and execution of the periodic consolidation of the Ingka Group results. During the process you determine deliverables, communicate instructions and follow up on issues of all our Ingka units.
  • Support Ingka units & stakeholders in different countries on questions about reporting and analysis requests, policies and instructions.
  • Support business controllers in generating insight in business performance by translating their information needs into concrete deliverables.
  • Support (finance) projects within the Group and reporting of special transactions.
  • Contribute to the preparation of periodic reports for the Management Board and Audit Committee.
