About the role
The Professional Services Project / Program Manager is a critical focal point to customers and internal resources. The PM is expected to manage all project aspects and resources in order to ensure timely, efficient, successful implementations.
The PM will also be responsible for working across multiple geographies, cultures, languages and communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
The Services & Distribution Project manager should have a working understanding of Industry.
This Project / Program manager will work strategically with the Sales and Service representatives in each geography to ensure a successful project, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
Build and maintain relationships with Sales and Service Representatives from different Kronos Geographies.
Assign a wide range of tasks based on skills, experience, language, cultural fit and availability; clearly communicates task priorities, helping personnel adjust workload as needed.
Understand customers high level business needs and ensure that their designed project plan meets those requirements and the agreed upon Statement of Work
Leverage and take advantage of earlier customer work to maintain continuity of process and configuration.
Prepare project plans / schedules, reports and budgets and report to Customer, S&D Practice and Sales counterparts including the Global Program Office
Track and monitor all deliverables, calendars and meetings as necessary. - Set performance goals for project team or work unit.
Monitor project and / or personnel performance, checking actual performance against planned performance to ensure technical, schedule, and budget goals are met or exceeded.
Collect inputs and prepare weekly and monthly status reports as required for all levels of an organization including Executive Steering Committees.
Prepare and support quarterly management reviews.
Provide personnel with timely, constructive, and actionable feedback that increases individual and team effectiveness.
Anticipate problems or situations that could affect the team.
Manage escalated situations as proactively as possible, involving management as needed.
Interact frequently with team, management and customers to define project requirements and identify solutions consistent with defined terms, methodology, policy, and regulations.
Develop strong customer relationships as trusted advisor’ at project management, payroll manager, and senior management levels.
Strong attention to detail as well as ability to function strategically within account; proactively look at big picture’ for project / customer short and long term goals;
identify and drive additional revenue opportunities within account.
Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects within customer, tying them all together with strategic vision and focus.
About You
Proven project management experience.
Experience managing an implementation team highly desirable.
Experience managing large software implementation projects and having project profitability expectations.
Experience managing multimillion dollar project budgets.
Broad knowledge of labor management, HR / Payroll, ERP, or similar domain product / systems.
Strong experience scheduling, preparing presentations and status reports.
Superb written and oral communication skills required (e.g., proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word).
Strong leadership skills with the ability to work as part of a project team.
Ability and willingness to travel up to 100% on a regular basis.
Flexible work schedule to accommodate working with customers in multiple time zones and with a Management team in the US.
