Job Title : Associate Brand Manager Sports Medicine Europe

Job Mission

This marketing leadership role is responsible for driving brand preference and delivering market and share growth across the assigned Stryker Sports Medicine products in Europe within the Endoscopy division.

Key areas of responsibilities :

European Marketing events

  • Independently manage all aspects of Stryker Sports Medicine internal and external events organization and execution
  • Collaborate with Compliance / MarComm / Local PMs / Event Coordinators to manage events
  • Responsible for booth design, branding and messaging, organizing equipment & samples
  • Develop post event follow-up processes / tools including post even communication (internal)
  • Champion the social media related tools together with MarComm / Compliance / Legal
  • Marketing excellence

  • Independently manages and supports the Endoscopy Europe Education / Demo kits process by partnering with European project manager for Demo, Education & Sample Inventory management process
  • Determine the EU sales training needs for Sports Medicine products and partners with the Education Manager to create and deliver sales training programs
  • Contributes to the completion of the Annual Marketing Plan for Sports Medicine Europe including the interface with the PMs as needed
  • Supports the management of an effective KOL network relating to Stryker Endoscopy Sports Medicine business; Manage the legal and compliance processes related to Stryker Sports Medicine HCP Consultants
  • New product launches

  • Collaborates with Brand manager and PMs to drive new product launches across Europe
  • Partners with all relevant cross-functional stakeholders (Operations / RAQA / Master Data Team / Upstream Marketing and PMs) to effectively manage all the aspects of the new product introduction and forecasting
  • Develop and maintain European marketing communications tools, including but not limited to : literature, collateral, newsletters, advertising, websites / digital, social media, video, customer and internal presentations etc.
  • This may include, but is not limited to : guiding projects through internal review and approval, working with internal teams, agency partners, and external vendors

  • Supports Product Lifecycle strategy across Europe for assigned Stryker Endoscopy Sports Medicine products
  • Supports the BM / PMs in building pre-launch customer advocacy for key new product launches
  • Assist in big and critical trials with key customers across Europe
  • Marketing analytics

  • Provide marketing analytics support in the form of Brand and business unit sales and margin performance analyses
  • Analyze competition and provide competitor insights for Sports Medicine business
  • Adhoc marketing analytics support for specific projects
  • Education and experience requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in marketing, sales, business development or R&D within medical device, pharmaceutical, or other relevant industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business (preferably in Marketing) or Economics
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages will be an advantage
  • Key competencies :

  • Team player with strong influencing skills
  • Strong written and oral communications skills
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc. highly preferred
  • High degree of attention to detail and follow through required
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Travel required in the field ( 20% of the time)
