As a Junior Project Purchaser and Scheduler within Wärtsilä Netherlands, you are in the heart of our dynamic maritime business where you will especially have a focus on our propulsion product portfolio.
Your main challenge in this role is to manage the total project supply chain of high value, complex project assemblies and deliveries for our maritime customers.
In this position, you are one of the main contact persons for all Project Procurement related activities from order up to the final delivery of our equipment on board of our customers vessels.
You work according to our project delivery schedule in close cooperation with engineering, sourcing, order intake, project teams, logistics and suppliers.
You will be part of a team of nine other purchasing professionals located in the Netherlands, Finland, Norway and China.
Due to the international character of this job you will be in daily contact with many international colleagues and external stakeholders.
You report to our Manager in Project Purchasing.
Location : Location for this position is Drunen, Netherlands.
