As a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer, you are the linking pin between the business of advertising, marketing and commerce and the technology that enables it.

You interpret business requirements, translate them to the solution and make sure the client finds a solution that will deliver them the desired business outcome.

You are driving the selection, integration and implementation of the tool.

This is how

  • identify and use building blocks for marketing technology application, define and execute a target architecture for implementation;
  • read and write the scripting languages applicable to SFMC AMPScript, SSJS and SQL;
  • build your own IDEs, work with the Studios (e-mail, mobile and social) and builders (Automations, Content and journey) and tailoring the tooling to the customer needs;
  • engage with clients in workshops and have the ability to transcend your knowledge;
  • collaborate with amazing digital experts across disciplines to innovate and create great solutions;
  • support our account teams in creating responses to client opportunities and RFPs (request for proposals);
  • be part of international projects and traveling across Europe and further.

    For the role of Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer you also have :

  • a Master's degree (such as Business Administration, Business Economics, Marketing, Business & ICT, Information Science, Computer Science, Econometrics or a beta study);
  • at least 5 years of relevant work experience in digital marketing technology, preferably in professional consulting role;
  • experience in the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform, understand new technologies and are curious of technologies of the future;
  • experience with e-mail / web technologies like (e-mail) HTML, CSS and Javascript;
  • good knowledge of SOAP and REST API and its applications within the marketing cloud domain;
  • the ability to determine the correct approach to extend functionality using out-of- the-box APIs;
  • the ability to set up architectures to expose and to consume content between the technology and other systems;
  • the flexibility to live and work across the European Union.
