As part of MADG, Marshall Netherlands (MNL) is operating in the Aerospace and (Military)Defense domain for engineering and maintenance support.
The large Dutch Defense vehicle replacement project (DVOW) involves around 1600 Marshall containers in several configurations, including a multiyear maintenance and support agreement.
MNL is executing this agreement with a team of FSE's, management and now also a vacant Technical Administrator role.
The Technical Administrator handles technical-, configuration- and logistics related activities to support the operations of the Marshall Netherlands Managed Support Services (MSS) team.
They will act as a coordination point for the IFS ERP system, working closely with the Field Service team and the Support Manager.
In addition, they will take physical control of warehouse logistics and spares support activities.
Participate in company- and team-meetings.
To keep IFS updated for all DVOW maintenance-, configuration- and logistics related activities.Make sure that monthly IFS reports for MSS-NL projects are complete in time.
Prepare Work-Orders for damage repairs, retrofits and corrective maintenance.Embed and update the preventive maintenance-, exercise- and mission schedule in IFS.
Monitor container status for downtime, (un)availability, operational status, technical error messages and other KPI’s. Liaise with FSE-team to solve issues.
Support In-Service Request handling for quotation, ordering and invoicing.Liaise with Marshall Land Systems (MLS) UK for IFS-issues.
Order, receive, prepare and ship parts to / from sub-suppliers, the customer (MoD) and the Field Service team.Daily control of the spares stock in the MNL warehouse and the Field Support vehicles.
Controlling and inspecting exercise (spares) kits for completeness and readiness.Monitor, anticipate and address logistical issues.
Liaise with local suppliers and MADG logistics to coordinate supplies.Identify and propose improvements for warehouse control and stock levels.
Monitor turnaround times for parts-repair.
Able to work independently within a team.Good telephone manner and customer focus.
Knowledge about maintenance processes and configuration management.
