Responsibilities : Capital Investments

Capital Investments

  • Responsible for overall Capital Program -development & -implementation for the facility;
  • Drives & Manages Capital Program execution by monitoring project progress, modify plans and initiate corrective actions based on feedback and changes.
  • Provide support and guidance to assigned project engineers in managing individual projects.
  • Communicate and manage issues / risks with corporate / divisional leadership
  • Maintenance :

  • Implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs and provide adequate tools and training necessary to drive continuous improvement against the Planned Maintenance (PM) Standard;
  • Utilize computerized (a.o. SAP based) maintenance management systems (CMMS) for equipment lifecycle optimization, cost control, spare parts inventory management, crewing optimization and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure spare parts stock and inventory levels are managed to meet specific divisional financial goals.
  • Develop and negotiate site maintenance contracts.
  • Continuous Improvement :

  • Review and analyze plant capacity and performance data to identify bottlenecks;
  • Develop a five year site master plan in partnership with the Plant Management Team;
  • Champion plant performance improvement, using a structured approach to identify and prioritize CI-projects ,
  • in line with the expectations of the Productivity and continuous Improvement (P&CI) Standard.

  • Leverage resources from own as well as other departments to drive CI-projects implementation.
  • Change Management / Ensure all projects are in compliance with appropriate the company’s standards and local regulations;
  • People Management

  • Ensure the right priorities are assigned to the various projects and resources are leveraged adequately and effectively
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to the technical team while developing relationships with others in key functional areas.
  • Profile description :

  • BSc or MSc in Engineering or related field;
  • 5-10 years of experience production / maintenance management experience;
  • Experience in project management / engineering;
  • Experience in a global FMCG company is a plus;
  • Fluent in English.

  • Establishes and maintain trust, supportive relationships and creditability with internal and external colleagues / vendors;
