Genmab is focused on the creation and development of innovative and differentiated antibody products, with the aim of improving the lives of cancer patients.

Your new role at Genmab

Our team is responsible for establishing efficient protein separation technologies for antibodies in clinical development.

We perform CMC research to develop seed HPLC analytical assays and antibody purification processes. We support CMC development of novel antibody formats.

Furthermore, we build efficient processes to perform enrichment studies to characterize our antibodies using HPLC-based technologies.

We constantly seek to improve existing techniques and to introduce new techniques.

You are a natural organizer and have experience in managing laboratory operations. You will be the point-of-contact with support departments such as purchasing and facility operations

You will plan and perform downstream process development and characterization experiments of antibody products.

You constantly contribute to the optimization and innovation of our team.

You work closely with CMC colleagues, scientists and other research associates in international project teams, primarily in CMC development projects.

You document results in presentations and written reports.

What we ask

You are keen and motivated to use your up-to-date knowledge of-, and experience with chromatography techniques to strengthen our team.

You are an expert in protein purification and analytical characterization. You are keen on pro-active and solution-oriented.

You are precise and accurate in the execution of experiments and in the documentation of the results. You have good communication skills and are able to deal with changing priorities and unexpected workload.

You like to work in a team but you are also capable of working independently.

In addition, you meet the following professional requirements :

You have a completed HLO / BSc education or equivalent.

You have at least 3-5 years of relevant work experience.

You have relevant experience of CMC processes.

You have a broad knowledge of and experience with analytical and preparative protein separation techniques like ion exchange chromatography.

You are able to work with tight deadlines and are capable of running several projects in parallel and adjust priorities appropriately.

You are a strong team player and collaborate effectively with internal and external parties in project and expert teams.

You are motivated by delivering high quality output and are used to working according to a quality system.

You have good relational and communication skills in English
