Have 8 years of operational experience in international logistics and transportation
Have a bachelor’s degree in supply chain or logistic management
Have Proven experience in project lead functions
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks that required varying leadership and managerial skill sets.

Have exceptional communication skills, effective in all directions of the organization.
Demonstrated knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and implementation of improvement practices.

About the job
We embarked on a journey to bring enhanced technology, processes and organization in the global transportation department within RHI Magnesita.
To lay the foundation for the future we initiated a TMS (Transportation Management System) implementation globally for all modes of transport over the course of the coming two years.
While rolling this out you will be working on new strategies that can establish methods to deliver our company targets. You will be instrumental in driving the logistics Control Tower concept to set up new envisioned roles such as a carrier management & transport network design.
This position will also require international travel to up to 25% on a yearly basis.
Your tasks will include :
To be instrumental in the TMS projects focusing on aligning all business stake holders transportation related processes.
To support each region in case of global restrictions and bottlenecks
Manage business reviews (QBR’s) with providers and appropriate RHI Magnesita operations and commercial teams.
To define Transportation KPI’s, procedures and setup governance for different regions and departments.
To drive out transportation costs through creative opportunities within the global supply chain.
To cooperate with procurement and other stakeholders establishing the global transportation strategy for air, ocean and road freight
Works to develop partnerships with freight forwarders that promotes a clear understanding of their capabilities by region.
Partners with regional transportation teams to establish global metrics and sub metrics as well as BI / visibility tool for delivery of these metrics
Works with regional transportation teams and global freight forwarder contacts on resolving systemic transportation service issues
Partners with regional transportation teams and freight forwarders to meet overall delivery of service, quality and cost goals established on an annual basis.
Responsible for tracking and following up on continuous improvement and / or corrective measures identified through best practice sharing by day-to-day operations or quarterly business reviews.
Ability to provide information and reports, resolve issues and recommend actions to improve delivery of services to the customers.
